How to Prepare Your Home for Ruqyah
Before starting your Ruqyah treatment program and cleansing yourself, it is very important to cleanse your home.
Here are the necessary steps you should take to prepare your home prior to starting your Ruqyah treatment:- Remove all images and statues of animals or human beings.
- Make sure there are no dogs in the house.

Do not play music in the house or anything that is impermissible.

Recite Surah Al-Baqarah in the house every three days or play the audio daily.
- Say Bismillah before entering and exiting the house.
- Remove any Taweez (paper amulets) and safely dispose of it. You can learn more on how to do this in The Taweez Guide.
- Remove any evil eye amulets hanging in the house such as the blue eye, horseshoe, rabbit’s foot, good luck charms, etc. and safely dispose of it.
- Spray the house with Ruqya water. This can be found in my shop or you can recite over water yourself.
- Play the Adhan in the house or recite it out loud regularly.
- You can also say “Leave in the name of Allah. You have no right to be here” if you feel a presence.
